im in need of a new cam what is the max lift the stock valve springs will take. i plan on getting new heads next summer i just want to get my car going again. and had planned on getting the edeldrock cam that matches my intake{rpm air gap}

Not sure myself but I ran approx .530 lift on my E7 heads for a long time.

depends on many things, but mostly how worn out they are, even spring steel has a fatigue life...
