What does 1.0 bump in compression net in HP & TQ? Is there a general rule of thump. Also I was talking to a guy that said it will impact the TQ numbers more then HP, is this right?
Horsepower is a function of torque, if you increase horsepower you are increasing torque and visa versa. What most people mean is that increasing peak torque or peak hp.
Either way, i don't think there is a hard and fast rule, but with compression comes high octane gas, which is an opportunity to bump timing.
