well i did better this time, i ran a 9.18 with a 2.13 60ft. last time at the track i ran a 9.25 with a 2.18 60ft. i was running consistent 9.24-9.25. humidty was 65% and it was 75 degrees. im hoping to get in the 8s with a tune
That's a decent time. My best run at Ohio Valley Speedway (an 1/8th mile track) is 8.96 @ 80mph w/ a 2.14 60ft That's with Intake/Tuner, Flowmasters, and BMR 3-Links... But that was also only my 3rd time ever at the drag strip. I think an experienced driver could pull off 8.6secs @ 83mph in my car pretty consistently. So with an Off Road H and tuner you should definitely be in the 8s.
with an O/R H, flows, U/D pulleys, DeMolet CAI/SCT canned tune and a hurst shifter, i ran 8.63 @ 83.77mph on stock tires, with a 2.05 sixty. there is more in the car, i just cant master it yet. need more track time. practice makes more of a difference than adding go fast parts. Learn to drive what you have now to its ability, then add power. its easier to learn one or two mods at a time rather than a whole new combo.
Divide the 1/8 mile ET by .64 to convert to approximate 1/4 mile ET. For example, a 9.2 1/8 mile = 14.3 1/4 mile. An 8.9 1/8 mile = 13.9 1/4 mile. Et cetera.

It's always gratifying to improve, even in small increments. Since you have an automatic, a great mod for the dragstrip would be a stall converter (3,000 rpm stall is plenty in these cars, 3,500 rpm stall is more aggressive). I dropped 3 tenths off my 60', 330', and 1/8 mile ET from just a stall converter swap. And, with just the stall converter, 4.10 gears, canned 91 octane tune, and drag radials, my 07 GT automatic ran 8.3's @ 82+ in the 1/8 mile (naturally aspirated).

I went back and checked my timeslips from before the stall converter swap. With just 4.10 gears, a canned DiabloSport 91 octane tune, and drag radials, my 07 GT automatic ran the 1/8 mile in the 8.60's @ 82+ mph (and 13.40's @ 102+ in the 1/4 mile), so I know you can easily hit your goal of 8.8-8.9 in the 1/8 mile.
With my listed mods(including the Nittos street radials), I've run a best 1/8 mile of 1.965 60' 8.434 @ 84.10 which ended up 13.138 @ 104.74 in the 1/4.
Same exact setup, but July heat and humidity brought those bests down to 1.980 60' 8.617 @ 80.48 in the 1/8 and 13.381 @ 100.30 in the 1/4.
I will be adding LCA/relocation brackets, aluminum driveshaft and quite possibly a set of MT stickies and with the cooler air I hope to run some high 12s(12.7s-12.9s) in a few weeks. I'd love to drop 2-3 tenths in the first 60-330'!
