Why the undercut head studs?Also using ARP undercut head studs.

Is that with the regular cut stud (on the right) the highest area of stress is right at the end of the thread, where the smooth part of the stud starts. Ideally you want the stress spread across the whole stud evenly, which doesn't happen with the standard design.Why the undercut head studs?

I am not going to run M1. I would have to spend a lot of money to convert. Between the fuel pump, a second set of fuel injectors, upgraded ignition system and other odds and ends, I don't want to go there. I would rather spend the money on a bigger S/C at some point instead. A friend of mine changed over to M1 and I have seen him go through a lot of issues. Maybe some of that was self inflicted, but I will stay with the E85.Love it man , staying on e or planning on m1?

It’s been 1.12 60 - 3.05 to the 330My friends car also has 11.0:1 compression, but he is running 35 psi so I can see running M1.
I am only running 20 psi and have a pretty efficient air/water I/C and the car ran good on E85 before.
Switching to M1 would allow me to get rid of the I/C and all of that plumbing and stuff and probably drop close to 100 lbs out of the car.
Since I already have the car sorted for E85 I will stay with that for the time being. Who knows, maybe down the road I will switch it up.

Now that you have all the room to grow you’ll start adding stuff quickly .The Holley Dominator EFI system came today. I am impressed with Holley. I ordered this stuff on Friday the 27th of May, the day before a long Memorial Day weekend and it shows up today, only 4 days later, despite the long Holiday!

A lot of wiring to come. All wound up like this and it is hard to realize how much wiring there is. That ECU is HEAVY! Looking at everything this thing can do and I realize that I will only be using about 35% of the capacity of this thing. At least there is room to grow!
My car has a trans brake, but was never triggered with the Fast. Neither was the Boost Controller. I did use the Fast for a Driveshaft speed sensor and at one point had a 3 axis G meter, but never got it to work right. I will be looking to see if the Holley can operate the Boost Controller that is now done independently with a Boost Leash system. Also want to integrate the trans brake control. I did upgrade to dual wideband sensors and will probably be getting a crank case vacuum/pressure sensor. Lots of options for sure. The engine already has a crank trigger/cam sync used with the Fast.Now that you have all the room to grow you’ll start adding stuff quickly .
I wired in all this so far on the blue car -
Trans brake input ( for 2 step and launch retard control )
G meter
Trans temp
Laser ride height sensor
Rear shock sensors
Drive shaft speed
C02 shifter
Still have 8 egt’s in the box as well to wire up .
We also run COP with a cam sync and crank trigger deal
