Huh? You have driving lights stock. You mentioned fog lights - do you have those too?

What's sculcar?

Post explicitly what you want a given set of lights to do and we can help you rewire it up (or maybe someone who gets this can translate it for me - I can't find my Dagz decoder ring).

Good luck.

alright, sorry about that, here comes the dagz decoder ring. All i want is to get rid of the driving lights. I only want my headlights on when i pull out the switch, not when the switch is in, and th car is on.

This way when i drive around at night (dusk) all you can see is the corner lamps and the the fog lamps. no headlights or driving lights at all.

SCULCAR is canadian slang derived from the word sculk. or what us boyz do when we just lazily cruise around like a pimp in the 5.0's. True story! hahaha

thanks again

Yeah, damn those infernal canadian DRL's. I wish mine didn't have them either.

Alright, after analysing a wiring diargam for a few minutes, it looks like all you have to do to delete the DRL's is to find the DRL module (under the dash I think) and ONLY snip the light-green/black wire at pin 8 (last one) on the module. DO NOT GET RID OF THE MODULE ALTOGETHER. Then, to get your fog lamps to work seperately from the headlights, do a search on "fog lamp mod", you will find all kinds of info on doing this simple modification. It just involves using power from the convertible top switch harness and splicing it in to the fog lamp switch. Looks like a real easy job man. Good luck.

Alright, I just went through the wiring diagram again, and I agree that it won't really hurt anything to pull the DRL module altogether, but if I am correct, you will lose your hi-beam indicator on the dash as well as the parking brake indicator. Unless some of the wires are not shown on the diagram, which would be stupid. Try disconnecting it and see what happens. You could always plug it back in anyway.
