rear leaf springs

Hard to say what you need. A mid-eye spring will lower your car 1 inch, a 5 leaf spring is a stiff spring, a 4.5 leaf is also a stiff spring, but not as stiff as the 5 leaf. a 4 leaf is stock stiffness. A reverse eye will also lower your car but I don't remember how far. I'm getting 5 leeaf mid-eyes myself.

I'd say if you're going for a stock restoration, go with 4 leaf stock leaf springs. Otherwise get 5 leaf mid-eyes or reverse eyes.

The reverse eyes will lower it more... 1.5" if i remember correctly. Just for comparison, I have 620#s and the 1" shelby drop and 5 leaf mid eye and my rear sits about an inch higher than the front.
