Does anyone know where to get hardware for a interpart liftlouver, or if hardware for other louver companies would work?

Have you tried to contact the company that made them?

I read somewhere interparts made them in the early 90s, I was wondering if any of the newer companies used the same design, so I could get replacement hardware that’s similar.

You will need to make your own. It's not hard. Use either the [red] auto two-side sticky tape if making ABS plastic brackets or sheet metal. Use a rear-view mirror adhesive kit if using brackets cut from aluminum stock.

The last set I made, I used a dremel and cut my brackets from small blocks of aluminum to align with the holes on the louver.

Your brackets are probably still on the last car that was installed on. heh

Did you have to make brackets for the sides and bottom or did you just use double sided tape? I saw it has hinges on the top to bolt up to the brackets.

I made two metal brackets for the top and re-purposed some angled plastic tabs to hold the bottom down. I made the metal brackets so that I could use screws and lock nuts as the hinge pins. I later used some aircraft style PIP (push in pull out) pins so that I could pull it off and put it into the hatch for car washes.

Oh nice, if you still have them, could I see some pictures of how you did it? It would be much appreciated.

I haven't had that setup for more than 15 years. The look eventually wore off of me and I sold it.

I got the Louvers in today and put them on the back of the mustang. The guy was adamant they came off an 82 Mustang, but they don’t fit. Where there two different body styles for the mustang back then? Like the notch and hatchback in the later years?

They maybe for a notch, they had both body styles but I've never seen louvers on a notch, don't mean they didn't have them

That's not for a 79 and up mustang. It's not wide enough to fit a notch rear window. Doesn't look like it'll fit a mustang ii either.
