I have a few quick questions.

How wide of a tire can you run with stock leafs on a 66 coupe?

i saw a 68 over the weekend with 00 cobra front disk brakes how do we go about that?

and does anyone have any experiene with heidts 4 link setups? are they good quality. we want it mostly for show but have a 375-400hp 351 going in and the car might see some track action. mostly street though. and how hard is it to lower these cars?

I didn't see what size / backspace rims you will be using, that will narrow the kits you can use for front disc brakes, here's another popular vendor:

you'll need 17" wheels I believe.
What kind of track action? road course, autoX, 1/4? each has preferable suspensions. Have you priced a heidts kit yet?
I stayed with new 4 1/2 mideye leafs in the rear and 1" drop spings in the front on my '67, this lowered the car so that the tire tread is level with the fender lip, about 25.5" from ground to fender lip with 15" tires.

Ok, so you're going with 17"? Here's a couple pics of mine with 15", 1" front drop springs and Shelby/Arning 1" drop (which only lowers it 1/4"?) and 4 1/2 mideye rears. It's actually at 24.5" (not 25.5" as above guessed) F/R within 1/4" of each other if this helps.

That red 67 looks great!!

You might check the Mustang Steve website about the Cobra brake swap? I thought he had info about it.

Sorry, I guess that has already been mentioned.
