I think it will be safe to drive cautiously without it for a few days.

either way you look at it the same size bar (being solid) will do same as any other companys bar. Having bigger sizes increases stability but too big a size will hurt you even worse than upgrading.

The rear end is a lil tighter after and more predictable

it's meant to keep the lca's parallel and to stiffen up durring body roll.

Adjustable setups can change the over/under steer effect.

stock - tubular/hallow
cobra/steeda - solid

The swaybar also will affect the roll center i believe. The heavier bars should help the rear be more stable, and lower the roll center? I've always heard to keep the front stock, but to upgrade the rear. With that said, my Bullitt has a cobra rear bar, and it definitly is better then a stock roll bar feeling on a GT.

There are some very good replies to your question here. I will add though, it will not hurt to drive without a bar in the rear, all that will happen is you will increase the understeer in your car.

Adding a bigger/stiffer bar in the rear will help a Mustang be more netural handling as understeer is designed into it from the Factory. Too big or stiff of a rear bar will increase oversteer and depending on your needs/desires may be what you want. I personally like a car that is a little loose, that way I have 2 ways of controlling/steering it, one with the steering wheel and the other with the throttle.
