Im just finishing up my 5-lug swap and need a picture of the rear center brake line. They one that goes from the body to the rear end.

Reason being, The braided one I got from discbrakesrus isn't like the factory one. It comes with the distribution block for the rearend hard lines on one end. And a flared hardline connention on the other side. I remember this side of the factory line using a banjo fitting.

If noone has picture. Does that hard line (body side) have a flared line with the banjo block on it. So I could take the block off and use the line I recieved from discbrakesrus.com into the flared connection.

Here's a pic of it. If anyone has input it would help save some time shipping this back.

Notice the distribution side for the rear end is on the left. The fitting on the right is was has got me.

It looks like the body side just did away with the junction block and banjo fitting and did it in one piece, looks like it will be fine! The hard line running from the front of the car to the rear will thread right into the top of that.

Cool thanks. I just remember the line having a banjo fitting on that side. And the pictures on their site also have banjo fittings on that end so it threw me off.

And it also comes with crush washers for a banjo bolt.

I don't think that's right. I installed the 3pc Russel stainless kit and the rear brake line (from body to top of rearend) had a junction block on each end. The front mount (body side) had a large single hole where the bolt goes through it and then into the mount. The only problem I had is that the block on the body side was too large so I had to Dremel the mount a little bit to make it fit.

numbles, how much is that kit with the rear hose you have.my car was originally a 4 -banger and doesn't have that distribution block and now is discontinued from ford.if i used that hose then it would save me alot of hassle and get my rear brake hose off the right tailpipe and back to the center of the rear axle.

Check with Greens as they have obsolete parts all the way back to the 1950s.

i already did,no luck.no one in junkyards either doesn't have a v-8 mustang or they won't pull it because it's such a small piece.i looked on discbrakesrus and i can't tell which kit numbles got because it appears they're using generic pics for the ads.that hose would solve all my problems.i may have to try to and call them.
