Today I was going to install my rear end gridle and saw rear bad *****. Most of the bolt are loose very loose, one was off and sitting on the rearend houseing. I need help ASAP and if any one knows how much to torque this bolt.

Please help , how can it get loose like this ? I had my rear end 3.73 put in like year ago.

I found the torque and it's 77ft lbs. How that happen ? The shop I got it done is close today , will call them tomorrow but for now can I torque them and put lubs just to drive to them ? Nothing else is damage ,only those bolts are loose :(
Thank god nothing else bad

If nothing else is damaged or broken, you are incredibly lucky.

true. Those bolts are designed to handle load evenly. If any of them fails, then others get more torque then its intended for. And not to mention other bolts looks like backing its way out too....

I'd call the shop who did your gear install, and have noice chat with who ever torqued those bolts! Don't they supposed to use lock tight?

BTW, i think TQ requirement is 77ft-lb

Called shop today and they told me they will contact the person who install my gear cause at that time they didn't some tools that require to do the install.
I just talk with the guy who install my gear, sound like very nice guy the way he talked. He is comming to my house to check the problem and take care of it.
By the way he got V10 mustang and he is bring it to my place to show me. If he really does then I will take some pictures and post them here.
He told me he take full responsibility of his work and he said he is sorry, I was very impress with that guy the way he talked.

I have never used loctite on those bolts , sounds to me like he didnt torque them to begin with , I have seen some shops just use an impact on those bolts , I torque mine to 80 ft lbs never had one come out on me ........if you do use loctite use the blue not the red , and the only bolt I put loctite on is the small one holding the cross pin in .........there is a good write up on explorer forums on how to install gears on a 8.8 if you need it
