What is a decent price for a stock 5.0 with emmisions equipment and that is it? I know a guy who has one and said "make an offer" so what should I offer him? Of course I am still going to build a badass motor, but I want a stocker that I can swap out each year for emmisions.

Plus, opinions on new avatar.

Well, actually, every other year, unless I can get someone to pass me. I would pass it right before my b-day, then right after it since the test has to read within a year. If I have to do it, I will. I am talking about just a motor with the emisions equipment.

Thanks for the compliment on the avatar. I think it beats the old chevy motor pic I had.

I dunno what they are worth. Around here they seem to go for a pretty good price. I got mine for $900 cash and it had some things done to it.

Since when?I have to get my car emission tested every 2 years in Ontario.
It`s mandatory.

We have to do it in most places in GA but not where my sister lives, so I think I might register it to there instead of swapping out the exhaust everyyear

Down here either... Alabama does not care about the air everyone breathes since we (i.e. Paper Companies) have a large percentage of the US's trees
