Bought my 89 GT Vert last year off the second owner, just under 100k miles and really babied all it's life. Have all the service records etc. Despite weld in subframes and strut brace, the car was super sloppy especially on the highway though, so I put in new OEM lower control arms from LMR (and new hardware), MOOG inner and outer tie rods, and Poly rack bushings. Also bled the P/S pump so the sludge is out, all fresh fluid. Greased the zerks on the tie rods and lower ball joints, torqued everything to spec w/ car sitting on the ground.
Car drives beautifully now, very tight, but makes a lot of noise. On up/down travel there's a high pitched squeak, maybe the new hardware inside the bushing sleeves? And when I turn left and right there's a creaking sound, like an old wooden door. I imagine that's the poly bushings.
It is too late to grease these? Can I just pull the pulls out and spray something in there? Or should I just not worry about it?
