Recieved new t-3650 today(finally!!!)

Ok after 2 months, well 1 1/2 anyway I finally got my trans...
I was told it was on backorder, And the reason is that Tremec was upgrading or dealing with whatever issues our trans(t-3650) has...
Anyone else here about this?

My situation was somewhat shady to start with, I'm not goin to go into that right now!.... Lets just say I dropped my old trans off without the car...

Also I have a spec stage three goin in there... a lil overkikll for a 260rwhp/300ftlbs car eah?..lol

i just put a new 3650 in my 96gt after blowing the t-45.(i didnt even know it was possible...my mechanic suggested it to me) It took me 3 weeks to get it because of the same reason....something about tremec changing the design of the gear sincros. So i guess that 1-2 grind they are known for should go away. If mine has it, im going to be really pissed.
and yeah, this tranny with a king cobra clutch is DEF. overkill for my little gt, but, hopefully this one wont blow like my last one.

my car sat at ford for over a month because of that in february you think they would have gotten it straightened out by now

So My spec 3 is going to give me Hulk leg? Great...lol
So this rumor I heard may have some substance to it....... sweet...

Well, I can tell ya that when I threw the trans in the trunk of my lil cavalier today I took off runnin.. I probably should'nt have gotten it under waranty...lol
Lets see... headers, chip,drag radials,gear,amongst other things.. having my car dropped off then picked up because they didnt want to pull the trans with the long tubes on there...So I pullled it and dropped just the trans off.. Shady , nah... totaly normal procedure right?...
