reinstalling Y303 Heads, I have a couple Q's...

Well it's been about 8 months since my car has had heads, so please bear with me, I forgot some things I used to know.

1) What plugs do I need? I remeber there was an Autolite plug and something else that were basically the same, which ones where they?

2) Since the heads are alluminum, I was told to follow the stock torque sequence, but go up to 80 ft/lbs, is this correct? I forgot what the last torque sequence consisted of.

3) Headgaskets. IIRC, the blocked off passages always face the front of the car, correct?

Thanks a lot for answering these, I know they have probably been asked a thousand time.

1) Ford Racing calls for using AGSF-32C spark plugs. If you can't find those just go to a parts store, give them that part # and get an equivalent plug.

2) 3 stages in setting the torque following the factory sequence. If using factory style TTY bolts, it's 35lb/55lb/85-90. If using 7/16" non-TTY bolts (eg. ARP), it's 20-30lb/45-55lb/65-72lb. If using 1/2" non-TTY bolts (you would have to have drilled the block for 1/2" head bolts like on a 351w) then it's 50lb/80lb/110lb.

3) Head gaskets literally have "FRONT" printed on them. Just look at the gaskets before installing.
