Well to start off, i had the proform shift light for quiet a while. i've moved it around the "cockpit" but i grew weary of looking at it everyday, since its fairly large. well today i decided to remote mount it. first, i took it apart and took out the "guts", wish i coulda got a pic of it but i forgot. essentially it was a small circuit board with a dial to adjust the RPM. i wanted to mount the dial out of site, but easy to reach so i took out the cigerette lighter in the near useless center console compartment. i drilled the opening out some to fit the guts of the shift light, then screwed it into a custom piece of plastic i made to fit the location. very pleased with the outcome, and now the only step left is to choose where i want the light to be (suggestions welcomed please) and to find a nice dial and inscribe the rpm numbers on the panal. heres what it looks like now.
