i ran my car 3 weeks in a row. the first 2 weeks i ran with my bassani cat-back and pulled a 15.0's with a 2.2 60's. the third week i took off my mufflers just for fun. i ran a 14.8 with a 2.4 60'. i think this is an obvious sign that my mufflers are restrictive? the car just flat out felt like it had MUCH more top end. in fact, when i ran the 14.8 i was running a 96-98 GT and he was ahead of me until the 1/8th where i started pulling on him and passed him by the 1/4.

i think i'm going to order some dynomax bullets. anyone see a problem with this? i want a different/louder sound that the bassani (quiet-thunder???) cat-back i have now

p.s. this was all before i got my gears installed. i now have a new time

If you are still running a stock 4 cat h-pipe the BEST after cat exhaust is to have none at all. You have a good amount of back pressure from the cats, enough flow for some decent high end power, and the weight savings is very noticeable....I've been running the open stock H for years and I'm basically in the 12s....damn I need slicks :P

Got no mufflers either here... Gives a nice sound and when the engine is cold, it gives off some loud pops here and there lol
