Been away for a few years, ever since the old grey and yellow forums, finally showed back up after the local Ford dealer says I can get in a new GT for $550 a month. I'm seriously considering it although some of the other toys will have to go.

Sticker for the one I'm looking at: http://www.inventory.ford.com/services/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=1ZVBP8CF0D5240738&refid=FD

My '68 Ranchero, 5.0 5 speed, been that way since '96 and my '68 Fairlane 500 46k stocker

My '93 Mustang that is going to go away, probably parted out since it doesn't look this good anymore.

I also have a '64 Fairlane 500 that needs restored that will be going away as well.

Anyway, good to be back, hoping the hear some good stories and reports on the new 5.0's.

It'll be nice to concentrate you efforts on one toy. Spreading it around like that can get tough on the wallet and time....not to mention...the TLC just doesn't go as far as you hope.

The new 5.0L is a real modern marvel. I think you'll be impressed with is. Especially once you start to tinker a little. You'll probably miss the "rawness" of the other cars....but with enough playing, you'll knock some of the smoothness and refinement out of that TiVCT 5.0L in no time. :D
