hey all

as the title reads: i repalced a 15 amp blown fuse on my 93 and the lights, door-is-open dinger, and radio still dont work. I think i might have rainwater leaking into the headliner and getting into the courtesy light. Would that short everything out? Should i tear the headliner down and look at the light? the headliner is starting to fall down anyway...

TIA

Did you do anything when the fuse blew?

It sounds like a bad ground that you may have pulled loose.

Those 3 things shouldnt be related.

If theres water getting into the dome light, it could have blown the bulb.
Anything shroted from water would keep blowing fuses on you till its dry.

I dont have the 93 fusebox diagram handy, but if they are all on the same fuse, it could have blown again. Youll need to check the fuse plug with a multimeter to see if its shorted out or not, before you replace the fuse again.

You could just disconnect the dome light and see if it goes away to rule out the dome light or not, also try checking the cigar lighter cause in my car it was causing the inside lights to not work, but Idk if it is the same for your year as mine is an 89..
