Reprograming?

I have an 89GT. It has GT40P heads, 26lb injectors,70mm TB, Cobra intake,E303 cam,cold air intake,underdrive pulleys,1.6 rockers. Do I need to re-program the computer? The reason I ask is of course the intermitent idle surge problem.
