Rim & Tire Question

I just got a set of 17x9 Cobra R's and wanted to know if I put 225 tires in the front, will it look goofy or do I need 235? Is anyone running a similar combo?

I'd go no smaller than 245s.

I just put 17x9 on my 93 gt and i went with 245/40 up front and 275/40 in the rear.

Doesn't it rub like crazy when you turn all the way, and what about the quads?

If you cut the wheel all the way it will rub a little bit. I took the quad shocks off. My 88lx i had 17x8.5 up front with 245/45 and they rubbed alot plus would rub the fender on a hard bump. That is why i went with the 245/40 this time.

225's look really bad, 235's look bad. 245's look ok, 255's are perfect!
