I'm looking into my springs/rocker arms for my stock E7's. I'm currently running stock springs/rocker arms with a B cam. I've been told that Crane makes the alphabet cams for Ford, so I'll call them for a spring match. What 1.7 rockers though? Harland Sharp? Crane? Comp cams? Scorpion? FMS?

I'm experiencing a little valve float and lack of "oomph" in the upper RPM range. Thanks for the help guys.

Edit: Oh, and should I be buying "stud mount" rocker arms? Thanks.

stud mounts on the e7 heads.

You have inline valves on the e7 heads. A common example of a canted valve design would be the trick flow twisted wedge heads. Just compare a pic of the two and it should be pretty easy to see.

Gotcha, that makes sense. Thanks!

3/8'' studs?

e7 heads do NOT have stud mount rocker arms, I repeat DO NOT have stud mount rockers, they are pedestal style.
