rocker pannels removal off a SN95

has anybody tried to remove their rocker pannels? i saw an scca prepped 96 cobra in 5.0 magazine. it looked pretty wicked w/ those meaty 555rII an 18 'ultralites..

any body shop guys in here want to help a stanger out..

I'd like to know how they come off as well, since I broke some of those stupid clips trying to get one off.

yea! i got them off.. wasn't too hard actually. theres two parts. the lower portion of the pannels bolt to the lower subframe w/ lil plastic plugs an the upper is mounted against the bottom of the door frame(metal portion) with rubber clips. what your left with is a nice row of holes where the rubber plugs mount to the lower door frame, used to go. (front to back) the darker the color car the less noticable it is, probly gonna go to the hardwear store an pick up some black rubber grommets untill i can weld an paint over the holes..

the look is cleaner imo. if your runnin 18's or larger. it looks plain nasty from the rear..


as far as a free styling mod, it can't be beat. if your gonna put svo side pipes or side skirts on your ride, you gotta remove em anyway. i think i may start a trend in my car club...
