Rockers Length Difference 65-66 And 67-70

Did you know there is a difference in the length of the rockers between 65 and 70 ? The rockers for 65 -66 are longer than 67-70 .Most vendors list 65-70 as the same length ..Nope the 67 -70 is almost 3/4 inch shorter than 65 -66 so if you newly purchased rocker is to long or to short you have the wrong year
here is a comparison of the rockers ,the blue rocker is a 65 original and the silver rocker is a brand new Dynacorn ,the Dynacorn rocker is shorter because it is a 67-70 .

The length to the point where the door would line up is the same ,it is the end at the rear tire you will notice the difference ,here is the 67-70 over laid on the 65-66

I found this out a few years ago when replacing the rockers on a 65 Fast Back and the rocker was to short .
I didn't know there was a difference at the time and wound up lengthening the new rocker to fit .Just thought i would share it .

The ones we have used are not the right shape either.
