maybe u guys can throw some advice my way. i have mice problems. seems to only be a winter problem. i may take my car out 1-3 every 2 weeks. im assuming when i come home and park it, the motor is still warm and thats what they like. actually think its a combination of chipmunks/mice. i have acorns/leaves/etc on my lower intake next to my valve covers. worst thing i have found so far is whatever it is is taking a dump on my intake (and the junk they drag in). so there is little spots on it ( stock one but when the trickflow one goes on , along with everything else, i DONT want that ). i have been using decon and whatever it is has been partaking....but IT WONT DIE.

its very annoying and im scared something is eventually going to get chewed. ANY help would be much appreciated.

*note- i dont have a garage, just a carport.

thanks guys

How long have you been using the poison?? It usually takes two to three feedings. Also, where there's one, there's usually more.

If you want to keep them away as soon as possible, get some type of sonic emitter. I have used devices like that, with positive results.:nice:

ive used the decon for severl months. each time i park the car, it goes under the hood.

good results from the sonic deive, eh? may give that a try

i would put some traps on the inside of the wheels. glue traps work alot better than any other conventional snap trap. stuff something in your tail pipe so they don't crawl up through them. check your filter to make sure they aren't eating that. moth balls in the interior help. I've never had luck with poisons. i'm sure they work but then you have the problem of a dead mouse rotting away somewhere. you won't even know for a couple weeks that its there...:nonono:
