Roll call 7/14/05 Round Up Open Track day!!!

What a blast!!! I thanked Dave and a few others several times. By the end of the day, I was drained. But, sliding around the turns (particularly 2, 3B, 5B, and 8) and running 135 on the front straight made it worth the drain.

There were some really fast 03 Cobras on my tail. I had to move over and let them pass.
I bumped to the Intermediate group after lunch. There were a lot of fast cars. But, I rode the @ss of 2 supercharged Cobras that did not want to move over. I had to pull off track once and the second one moved over after getting 2 passing flags. This was the best event I've been to. I love that track!!!

deathrull i will get that video soon of your car on the dyno, that thing sounded pretty sweet. how much power did it put down? i think i was following you for most of the first session in the novice group. that crash also had me a little worried too. if you want i might have a place to host all those vids that you took?

sorry 03shrk thats the only pic i have of your car right now, i have two friends that were with me with cameras and i need to go copy their pics to my computer tomorrow and post them. 135 down the straight away?? you were movin!

cool

Tsoccer let me know and I can start emailing the videos to you. I put it on the dyno just to check my A/F ratio since I just put in a custom tune from running with the devil. It put down 379 HP and 406 TQ (mustang dyno) but I was running real rich at about 10.9 A/F. The next day I took it to Turbo technologies for a quick adjustment and put down 440 HP and 454 TQ (dynajet) still running a little rich at 11.3 A/F. I will be at the Port Orchard Mustangs on the waterfront this weekend and will adjust it a little more to get around 11.8 A/F. There is supposed to be a dyno on site at the car show. wow 135MPH. The fastest I hit was 130. Car could have gone faster but that was my comfort level first time out:)

deathrull you can start emailing those vids anytime. i just got home from work but dont know if i will be around much tonight to try and post them up. you guys and all your 130's lol. i was happy with 115 maybe 120

Hey all
I was there in the 04 Mystic that was on the dyno. I met GT 4 Fun there for sure because he was parked right next to me and his car is easy to pick out in a crowd and he is a helluva nice guy along with his son (194). Come to think of it I need to get my son trained up for the kinda help GT 4 fun got outa his son :nice: tsoccer3299 if you took a video of the dyno session I would love to get a copy please. My email is [email protected]. That was my very first track event (novice) and it was a total blast. I can definitely see how you could get hooked on that. I was a little concerned about the whole kill my car thing but once I got out on the track that went away:):) I couldn't have had as much fun if it hadn't been for Doug riding with me for the first 2 sessions showing me the ropes and how to drive the track safely while still pushing your car (and me). I think I'm still grinning ear to ear hehe. For all of you that set that up and made it happen thank you very much!!! Hopefully I will get to do that again someday.QUOTE]

Deathrull, Thanks for the compliments. I enjoyed meeting you and talking to you. My son Kris was a great help. He would help set up the pit and pick it up. He also allowed me to drive in the car poll lane :-).

I had a great time meeting others there. This was my second time at PR, the last time was about 6 years ago. The track had a few changes in it. It was nice to meet new people. I was impressed with the SHO's (mom's cars) out there. They handled decently and one was even supercharged.

I will most likely go to PIR on Sept 14 for the SAACNW track day.

Now I have to spend some time bleeding the brakes again, and looking over everthing just to make sure everything is ok.

Did anyone get the contact info for the guy who was selling the key chains of the cars?
Me and Merc331 got the key chains, but no contact info. For $4 you can't say no.

One more pathetic plea..... If any of the videos show my 03 Gray Mach 1, I would love to have a copy of them..... Or a link to where they are posted.....

I have over 30 videos of the Novice and the Intermediate groups. Let me know what car you were driving. If you're on there, I'll email it to you.

Merc. I have one of the white Capri. Send me you email address and I’ll email it to you.
