this doesn't seem to be getting much attention in tech, so maybe one of you guys can help me
i've been tossing around the idea lately about throwing in a 6 point cage sometime after the summer, i would weld it in, however there might be a chance that i want to return this car back to stock, so i want to just bolt it in for now. my question is; how do these things go in, and bteer yet, how can i keep my carpet. the only way i can think of is to maybe test fit the cage in there, and mark the mounting locations, then pull it back out and cut a slit in the carpet so the little plate can just fit right under there. is this how you do it, or is there a more competent (sp?) way of doing it. oh, and does anyone have that MM cage, and if so, it doesn't come yellow does it.
anyways thanks guys!

If you get a bolt in cage you could probably get creative and install it above the carpet, but if your going to go through the hassle, you may as well install it right and cut the carpet to look decent going around the cage. As for the maxim motorsport cages, I think they come black.. but dont quote me on it. let us know what ya end up doing...
though if i ever make it there, I will probably find yet another excuse.. Lol
