My new wheels rub. I'm considering rolling the front fenders with a baseball bat. One inner fenderwell is already missing. Should I remove the other before rolling? Should I replace the missing one before rolling? How effective is rolling front fenders with the inner well in place?

they arent nascars man. if you try it with a bat you are gonna warp your fender.

well im not saying you WILL warp it but there is a VERY good chance you will, if you are gonna do what i think you are.

I would leave them in. Those inner fenders are already a biotch to install sometimes, so intalling them after the lips are rolled even more will be a challenge. I've never seen them rub on the metal wheel wells, just at the front edge.

It's rubbin' somthin' when I hit a good dip on the highway. I thought it was the metal just inside the wheel well. Thus the desire to roll. I'll have to pull the wheel and look for the missing paint.

Damn, that thing is low! nice car though. I don't know how much it will help you to roll fronts, but gently roll the inner most part of that lip. Don't distort the outside area.

Make sure you remove the screw holding the inner fender in thats at the very top of the wheel well because if you start to roll it with that screw in place it will probably punch right through the fender from the inside.
