Roush 200 heads

I found a set of these fairly cheap, they are fresh from the machine shop, got .600 lift springs. 2.02 intake and 1.90 exhuast valves, think they are worth $600? My motor is a 306 with a E cam, getting ready to put a ported cobra intake with 24lb injectors and maf, and 70mm tb on it. Think the Heads would be to much for my combo?

They should be fine on that setup, the cobra intake is going to make plenty of low end torque with them. I've got two sets of them, one on a 306 and one on a 354 stroker.:nice:

Well talked him down to $500, i bought my intake from him and the machine shop messed up port matching the throttle body and its alittle off, cleaned it up with my dremel, no big deal. The intake is suppose to flow as good as trick flows track heat intake. So they are a good head for the money, he was going to use them with the intake i bought so they are port matched to eachother. Allied Machine in St. Louis did all the port work on it all. Probly go buy them this Friday. Tired of runing 15s. Getting the Heads and intake swap ready. Bought some new headers now just got to get the X pipe and mufflers. Got a set of 3.73s and new trac lok. Hoping for 13s atleast.

with a good driver, gears, a good T5 and shifter.. you should be in the high 12's

I need alittle practice driving but the car will be alot differnt to drive though soon, it runs 15.0 @96 right now. Ive got a set of 3.73s getting ready to go in it. Its got a Z spec T-5 wiht about 5k miles on it now, got a B&M ripper shifter. Now Just need to go buy the heads and put it all together. Might have to do a bottom end rebuild its starting to smoke some in High RPMS. When i first start it it puffs some smoke (valve guide seals), then if i go about like 4500 and am on it hard for awhile it starts to blow alittle blueish smoke.
