I don't drive my 'stang very often, but when I just can't hold out any longer and must partake of the joy that is Mustang ownership, it's to work and back. It's a 70 mile round trip with 30% stop and go and 70% highway. I noticed tonight that it was turning about 1,800 @ 70mph (with stock 3.27's) and made me think, "wonder what it would be turning with 3.73's out back"? I'm thinking about 2 things here. 1) Will my gas mileage suffer very much and 2) will the engine be at an rpm @ 70 mph that will drone in my ear much like my '93 GT with flowmasters did.
I'm sure it's been covered and a thorough search would net me my answer, but crap on that, I'm trying to do this AND watch the Georgia/Georgia Tech game.
