rr installed and now have a miss

ok well im really pissed now b.c i bought a set of heads from tristate cylinder heads and they sent me a set there own rrs and dam the snap rings broke today allmost 1 month to the day after i get the heads back from the valve springs broke , well i changed the rrs out and now it has a miss allthe way through the rpm range. anybody have ne ideas
 
normaly i would agree but after the valve springs broke they had me send the heads back and they had installed all brand new valves and guides , the broker rr was caught befor it could do any real damage i was doing a oil change and just happen to see the little peices of a snap ring so i pulled the valve covers and sure as hell 2 rockers had 1 side of them the snap ring had broken so i switched out my rrs for another set i had but i dont know now if i just have a valve to tight or to loose bc it sounds like its popping back through the intake and out the exhaust , is there a special sequence to adj the rockers they are stud mounted sombody told me just to go 0lash and lock the poli locks on it there but another person said go 3/4 of a turn past 0 wich one is it?
 
#1 Buying no-name chinese heads from Tri-State Cylinder Head 9 times out of 10 yields your results, broken parts and a frustrated customer.

#2 When you get to "zero lash" on the base circle of the cam, you ADJUST from that point NOT tighten. The adjustment past that point can vary a little, but usually comes close to 1/2 turn past zero lash. Then tighten your poly locks unless your rocker arm instructions call for a different amount (ie. 1/4 turn, 3/4 turn)

Tightening your poly locks at zero lash on the base circle with no further tightening would have a lot of slop in your rockers, which would mean your roller tips were NOT centered on the tip of the valve stem and you were wearing out your valve guide incredibly quick and putting tons of stress on your valve springs and components.
