Hey guys. This may have been covered or beaten to death already but I haven't found a definite answer yet. To make a long story short, I installed a aftermarket headunit in my 97 gt w/ the mach 460 system. I bought the correct harness but only tweeters play. So my plan is to just wire the 2 lower door speakers and the two rear deck speakers to the headunit directly for the time being just to get everything to work since money is an issue at the moment. My question is this.....does the lower door speakers and the rear deck speaker wires meet up in trunk before they go into the amps? If so, thats where I would like to splice into the wires then run them to the headunit. That will save alot of time by not having to remove the door panels and running wire through the boots at each door, etc. Thanks guys!
