Ouch, that looks bad..but it can be fixed. Prob easier to do it now while everything is out.

Usually it gets that bad when brake fluid leaks on that area. They brake fluid lifts any and all paint from the factory and then corrodes it like no tomorrow.

I would suggest to anyone to check your brake system and make sure NOTHING leaks from the MC or lines or your rails will look like that too

Thats a sound piece of advice. I lose the smallest ammount every couple months from my MC but cant find the leak for the life of me. Just know its somewhere eating away at the paint. Good thing its Texas and we dont have winter.

Good work Ryan, keep at it and she'll be ready to rock in no time buddy.

Ryan, call Stinky. Mabey he can hook ya up.

By me there is a one owner 89 Notch 4cyl with not a hint of rust on it you could get for $900. Its the Porno red interior though.
There is also a 85 roller T-top in beautiful shape with fresh black paint also rust free (Texas car its whole life) for $1500. Tubular K-member and a 9" rear with (I think) 4.56 gears.
