Living on Long Island, and being into golf, this week is awesome for me! I worked Monday and Tuesday, and then off the rest of the week. I’ve been hooked on the golf channel Ryder Cup coverage. Just wondering if anyone else here is a Mustang / Golf nut like me?
I know enough about golf to appreciate a good shot when I see it, but don't really "follow" it that much.
Most of the PGA names I recognize are all retired now.
I would be hard pressed to name a single professional or armature golfer, let alone a hockey player, tennis player, basketball player or bowler. I can name maybe 3-5 baseball players and a dozen or so football players, probably due to seeing them in commercials.
I don't view golf as a sport, or any other activity that you can "play" by yourself.
That puts me in the minority for sure, but I got better things to do than watch paint dry. Lol.
Wish i was able to follow the Ryder cup, those tournaments are usually more fun to watch.
I do watch the Farmers Open when its here in San Diego (and go if i can). I recently played Torrey Pines (thank goodness for the resident discount), its fun to play the same courses the Pros do.
