Nah, the thing that pisses me off the most is the guy was a good tuner, car never detonated and ran well with the blower, just shady buisness practices, and the revlimiter mistake was totally unacceptable, I never pointed the finger cause i was racing the car when i broke it and sometimes **** happens

What happened to the motor? over reving usually causes issues with the valvetrain. Worst case is PTV contact, best case is bent pushrods...

I don't know what his combo was, but if it involved boost and a H/C/I setup. It could have just been making way too much power for the stock block at say 6500 or something?

Wish i took pictures of the pushrods, they were bent, all of them, some bent two ways, bent 7 exhaust valves and one got loose... and this happened. you can actually see where the valve actually came thru the top of the piston. It was good i had AAA plus that night!
I also started the car after the fact, which prob wasnt the best idea, but i younger and dumber. FWIW i saw the tach coming down from 7500 when i missed 3rd, it was the first time i tried a real commited powershift...

Ok heres how I would do it being in your shoes.
1. Buy a V-3 that makes about 5-7 lbs of boost.
Run the hell out of your car and have alot of fun with it,
Once the motor has had enough it will give out on you.
2. take off the V-3 and start building a new motor but now you have a supercharger that you can throw on there.
Done.

I think myne had at least a few years left in it but my old tuner assumed i had an MSD box and took the limiter off the stock computer...
I thought the stock computers didn't have rev limiters.

Yup, they cut fuel at 6250

And... anyone who has been on the stock limiter and an MSD limiter knows the difference!
