S197 Seats In Fox Body

I was wondering if anybody had tried to see if the seats from the S197 will fit in a fox body and if not why. Only really asking because I have access to some from a wrecked car, and the Grey leather would match the stock grey of my fox body till I change it.

They will fit. Just swap the Fox rails over.

Looks like I just have to drill out the studs for the original seat rails on the S197 seats and swap over the foxbody rails.

Either drill or weld the frames on

I need to drill the studs to remove the S197 rails seams easier than trying to fight a wrench in between the seat bottom foam and frame just to unbolt them.

I've been considering this for my car, mainly because it's getting hard to find really clean sn95 seats in my area. A shame since I sold an sn95 car two years ago, and the seats were my favorite part of the car. Any feedback as to seat comfort sn95 vs s197?

Anyone?
