Im putting saleen wheels on my car (500$ for the set)...18x9 fronts and 18x10 rears....will 245 40 18's work all the way around? or should i put something fatter on the back? i'm thinking if they work all the way round to go with one size that way i can swap them so i dont need to buy new tires everytime i wear them out...

245s will not fit on a 10" wheel. You really should be getting a 265/35 for the front and at the very least a 275 in the back. you can run up to a 305 without any problems in the back. You got staggered wheels, you won't be able to rotate them anyway.

The whole point of having staggered rims is to have different sizes. If you have the same tire on both rims, it's going to look odd.
