I pulled the thermostat out to check if it opens when I put it in boiling water. It opens fine, But I am still not getting any coolant into the upper rad hose. Why? please help. I also put a summitt racing water pump that will supposely flow 30% better.

are you sure you got the right Water Pump? Also is the thermostat pointed in the right direction? i know you've probaly checked a million times but thats just my .02 I Havent had any luck with electric fans, i went back to a stock one :flag:

With the stat housing off and hose in hand (like if flushing the system) can you put water into the system and get it to pump out the lower intake (stat location)?

Good luck.

I am having some overheating problems after putting in a new Edelbrock High Flow Reverse Rotation Water Pump, and new Autometer Ultralite Water Temp Gauge, sealing my intake where it was leakin water. One of the things that I have come to being in central FL, is that it is too hot for my setup just driving around town, my setup is more for the track. Thats why I think im overheating.
