lol nice random picture

I ran it at a local 1/8 mile track my time was 9.1s, while a couple new edge cars we're running high 9s to low 10s. My 60ft times were low in the low 2 second rangs. Hell the run this year was conservative with 9.17 @ 71mph. As for the tune I'm still debating on getting it done to mine, for the simple fact that it runs awesome. I've pulled the plugs over the weekend and they look beautiful, not too dark not to light. Yes the crown vic specs are the same. 5.0 mustang had an article about the pi motor, "ford is saying that 2003 and newer pi are the best" so that being said look around for them. My pi motor is from an 05 crown vic.
just picked up a set of PI cams from a 03 Gt for $70. now i just have to learn a little more about this whole putting a PI manifold on NPI heads. i havent found a picture yet showing exactly what needs to be sealed up
Alright so it seems that people might still be debating whether or not a PI intake manifold can be attached to Non-PI heads. Well here is a how to put the PI manifold onto the Non-PI heads
Well I did a little bit poking around, for all to know the 96-98 gts ran 14.9 in the 1/4 and the 99-04 gts ran 14.7 in the 1/4. So for a full bolt-on npi to run a 1/2 second or better in the 1/8 is fully possible, oh wait that's right I did that on several occasions last year before swapt the engine in it this year. Also I was leaving at a .03 light once and .17-.20 lights the other times
Ok nightfire you google it. The pi times where found at mustangspecs.com I beleiveis the site. And the npi I had to google it and found a site with 1/4 mile times
Same site testing both cars....
1998 Mustang GT - 15.1 @ (MPH NOT GIVEN)
1999 Mustang GT - 14.0 @ 100.2
Ford Specs. (Specifications like acceleration, top speed, hp, 1/4 mile, etc.)
They make adapters to put the PI intake on NPI heads, but you may have figured that out by now.
yeah i figured that out but as i look into it more the adapters seem a little to expensive and unnecessary. looks like some silicone or jb weld will do the trick
