I foolishly thought Shell in Canada offered 93octane, so I had my new SCT tuner tuned by American Muscle to run 87 and 93. However, the highest octanes here are 91 and 94. I'll run 87 for now to be safe, but does anyone know if you can run the 94 on a lower tune of 93? I know you definitely can't go lower or mix with a lower than 93.

Thanks!

The higher octane lets you run more agressive timing without detonation. So you can run higher octane gas on any of your tunes but as Nasty said don't run lower octane than what your tune is for.
You are lucky where you are at. The highest octane I can find around here is 91.

You just have to move closer to the Mississippi River. Here in Dubuque, I can get 92 at several places in town and if I searched hard enough, I think I could find 93 somewhere (it use to be available a few years ago). Anyway, It's good to see another fellow Iowan here!

Yeah there are a few of us on here. I wish I could move back to the Mighty Miss but my jobs has me planted here. Do any boating in the summer?

Some of the stations around here used to sell 92 all the time. I think Kum and Go and Casey's used to carry it but recently (maybe a year ago) started carrying 91. BP used to carry 93 but the only on around that I know of went out of business.
