Hey guys. I don't have any experience with tuners such as these. From what I understand it plugs right in under your dash without any wire cutting, splicing, or soldering correct? Also Is it easy to change programs and has anyone here had that problem posted in the sticky with the car not starting after getting back from the dealer? Will the Xcal 2 provide good power gains with just Borla Stingers on my GT?

Easy

You will just plug it into the port to the left of the steering collum down below by your knee. I wont go into detail, here but when you plug it in the cars battery will power the SCT and will prompt you on what to do. I have three tunes in mine, an 87, 91, and 93 octane. Its going to save your stock set up for you first then you choose which tune you want.

I did mine at the gas pump the first time its that easy. With a proper CAI , "mine is a C&L" and the 93 tune, expect about 30 horses. The difference in performance takes too long to fully explain for me. But a night and day difference come pretty close.

very easy, just plug it in and choose new program, while following the instructions on the tuner.

it will add some power, but not as much as if you added a CAI at the same time. be sure to tell your tuner you dont have a CAI, it will make a difference in your tune. the biggest plus for your combo will be added throttle response, and if you have an auto, better/firmer shifts.
