1) Do I use a thread sealer on the passenger side brake line adapter (the Weatherhead 7828)? The old LMR Cobra brake install video shows a sealant, but the part description calls it in inverted flare, and I’ve read you don’t use sealant on inverted flares. 2) Do I need this adapter when I am running the Maximum Motorsports MMBK8F Fox with SN95 calipers braided lines? The MM instructions are not clear on this point. https://www.maximummotorsports.com/...ang-with-SN95-94-04-calipers-front-P1341.aspx

Thanks

I never have and I have two cars done this way and have helped a few other guys do theirs and never used sealant. Does it hurt? Probably not but flared fittings should not need it like AN fittings do not need it except on the NPT threaded side.

I've never used a sealant. The inverted flare itself should do the job. TBH i'd rather not use the sealant as I'd want to ensure i have a mechanical seal that is complete.

I figured out that the MM 94-04 hoses that "fit" in a Foxbody have the same size flare connections and that the 94+ cars had a smaller flare connection on the passenger side. Just so much noise to read through online. I got the driver's side set up last weekend.
