Does a rear seat delete eliminate alot noise that is inside the car without the back seat installed or is the noise pretty much the same? I currently have my seat out and nothing in it's place and my car is very loud inside. I have a seat delete ordered but it isn't here yet. I am hoping by covering the dead spot in the floor and closing off the trunk that the noise will diminish greatly.
Any helpful comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

If noise is a concern to you maybe you should think about adding some sound deadening material while you have access to the area. There are many kinds and price levels of sound deadening material...

As much as a seat is still alot heavier then sound deadning...I still wouldnt recomend adding it since you more then likely took out the seat for weight issues. If you do anyway...try second skin. They have deading for all levels of sound.

defeating the purpose of deleting the seat to drop some wait. the sound is just gonna be a draw back. I'd just live with it and turn the radio louder.

i know some companies make some really lightweight sound deadener. i was just wondering if the seat delete itself helps deaden any noise. i can hear tire noise, road noise, etc. that wasn't present with the seat and would like to get rid of some of it.
