Seatbelt Light

Well this is a pretty simple question and I am hoping it has a simple answer... My seatbelt light on my dash stays on. All the time. No big deal, just ANNOYING AS HELL. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

1. take the bulb out
2. probably the little switch in the buckle part is bad.

You can probbaly cut the wires going to the buckle and if that does not turn the light off them connect them. The light will probbaly go off with them connected though as the seat belt probably closes that switch..
