I'm looking to have some work done to the block in my Mark VIII and was wondering if there's any machine shops in the NW that have had experience with the 4.6, especially the aluminum blocks. I'd like to drop it off somewhere that knows what they're doing so that I can rest easy at night. Thanks.

There's a small shop in the Kirkland/Totemlake area that I know of. Can't remember the name of it but the owner is a Ford guy. Not sure if that means he knows 4.6's or not. It has been quite awhile since I have talked with him. I'll get the name of the shop and get back to ya.

Along Aurora Ave there are 2 auto parts stores with machine shops. One is actually in Shoreline. I think they're call Action Auto Parts.
