setting the float level ???

Question, I am trying to set the float level on my Autolite 4100. This is my first rebuild. Do I measure the float level by holding the tab down on the seat with my finger and measure the height of the float ? To change that I assume I just bend the tab to the appropriate height. Just want to do it right, so any tricks or tips are appreciated.

Nobody ? I just want to make sure I am doing this right. Learn as I go.

Yes, you need to hold down the tab, and then measure the height of the float in relationship with the "top" of the carb. You need that small L ruler the rebuild kit came with.
