Hey guys!!!! It's been a little while since I have posted and things have been going really good with my new 347. So some may remember my issues I was having with codes relating to o2 sensors etc. Once I got my quarterhorse and innovate lc1 hooked up and after figuring out how to start datalogging and using the digital gauges on my laptop I noticed that the HEGO1 wasn't working, so I finally figured out that it was the wire on the computer was out and not connected. So problem solved now both o2's are working correctly and I can see them changing in my datalog. So I have adjusted the following and am getting very close to 14.7.1 a/f ratio which is good, because I am going to take the car for an emissions this weekend.
After the emissions is all done I want to start tuning for hp, but I will save the tune that passes the emissions test, even if it takes more than one try to pass. That way if I have to go back I can.
So when tuning for timing, there is a timing advance setting for neutral, part throttle and wot. Just wondering where I should start with that. I was thinking of adding .5 at a time to neutral until I hear any signs of detonation, then back it off a degree or two, then can try the same for part throttle and wot. Just wondering if anyone has any advice.
Other than that what I have adjusted is Injector High/Low slopes, Injector offset vs battery voltage, MAF Transfer Curve, Displacement, Adaptive Update Min and Max Values, aswell as Adaptive update table setting suggestions from tweecer manual, as well as idle at neutral to 1200, and cruise to 1200 rpm.. I also changed Load vs RPM from eec analyzer. And injector timing for my cam from eec analyzer. I think the next step after emissions should be timing. So any help on this would be great.. Any other tuning advice welcomed!! I know eectuning.org is good, but seem to get more responses on here!
Thanks
