I want to put Subframe connectors on the vert, but the torque box has bracing going over top of it, what you guys with verts been doing? Have you taken that bracing off the go with the SFC's or are there a different kind to go on those cars
I assume they go on the same....I don't think I have ever been under a vert....Oh I have been under one and it had SFC's and I think they were the same as any other
drill the rivets out of the braces and remove them, weld in the sub frames, cut/trim the braces if you wish to put them back in and weld them in this time.
So, this is the reason why many ads for SFC's specify "not for convertible models?" ... because they assume you can't/won't remove the factory bracing? Or is there more to it than that?
