Went to my in-law's last night and I think half the neighborhood showed up to look at the car! One of them mentioned that they heard there were issues with people stealing the cobra emblems off of the Shelbys .... has anyone had this problem?

With a car such as GT500, your shouldn't have to worry about that because you should never leave the car unattended. I can't remember any time when I left my old 96 Cobra unattended.
But yes, the GT500 emblems are huge, so I can see why people would want them.
It happened to my 94' Cobra when new. I used to live in a neighborhood with outside parking only. Came out one day to find one snake gone and the other scratched up. Luckily they did not scatch the paint. I was PISSED!!!!
