Shock replacement

I just bought a 94 mustang GT, and I need to replace the shocks. I am planning on spending aroung 250 to 350 dlls. The car is almost all stock. For the moment I don't want to lower it, since in the place I live there is very bad street conditions (a lot of bumps and holes). I want to know if I should buy the stock shocks or maybe the Monroe Reflex. They are almost the same price. Or maybe someone can suggest any other make. I am mostly interested in ride confort at the time.

I paid $70 a piece for my Edelbrock shocks and I really like them. They also have a lifetime warranty.
